Our firm's name is taken from the Neosho River, a tributary of the Mississippi River in southeastern Kansas and northeastern Oklahoma. "Neosho" translates as "clear water" in the language of the Osage Indian Nation. The name was chosen in honor of one of Mr. Richey's relatives, a full-blooded member of the tribe at the beginning of the 20th century.
